This policy explains what information the Retick app collects, why, and what choices you have. Retick has no user accounts and does not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
Your lists and notes
- Your checklists, notes, reminders and settings are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
- The app does not back up your lists to the cloud, so uninstalling the app deletes them.
- When you share a list, the app passes it as plain text to the app you choose; Retick does not send it anywhere itself.
Notifications
If you turn on a reminder for a list, the app asks for permission to show notifications. Reminders are scheduled on your device and are restored after the phone restarts. You can turn them off at any time.
Information collected by third-party services
The app uses Google services for advertising, analytics and crash reports. They collect some information automatically:

None of these services receive the contents of your lists or notes. This information is sent over an encrypted connection and is processed by Google under its own terms: see Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Consent and your choices
- If you are in a region where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the app: Preferences → Ad choices.
- You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your Android settings (Google → Ads, or Privacy → Ads).
- You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the app.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers listed above, for the purposes listed above, or when required by law.
Data retention and deletion
Data collected by Google services is kept according to Google's retention settings (analytics data for up to 14 months). Because the app has no accounts, we cannot link this data to you; to request deletion of data associated with your device, write to the address below and we will forward your request to Google where possible.
Children
Retick is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
